are fastest of the day in San Francisco


Bobby Curtis (R) 15:30 5k was the fastest boy of the day, and Allen Bader (L) 15:36 led LaSalle Cincinnati OH to the best combined boys team time of the day. LaSalle made a strong case for improving on their US#12 spot in The Harrier national rankings

Ukiah CA sr Amber Trotter ran away from a good field in 17:21 in a smashing return from a long layoff with health problems. Explaining her tears afterward, she said, "You don't know how much this means to me."

US#1 Saratoga Springs NY girls and Mountain View UT (US#4 boys and US#3 girls) are favorites over a horde of West Coast teams. Bobby Curtis KY and Allen Bader OH lead the individual invaders. Weather should be perfect (clear, high 60s) in Golden Gate Park. Olympians Pascal Dolbert and Regina Jacobs will be on hand to greet the runners.
