This year's North Coast Section (NCS) meet appears to be one of the most competitive in recent memory. For every clear favorite like the Carondelet girls in the Division II race, you have 8 teams battling for 2 state meet berths in the boys' Division I field, 4 teams with a legitimate shot for the boys' Division III crown and 4 teams vying for the girls' Division V title.

The following lists are my best attempts at predicting the finishes for this Saturday's final. Compared to last year pre-meet rankings, this year's predictions were far more difficult. The depth and parity in each division should make for some very exciting races.

Division I
