LA City "At-Large" and "Extra Entry" Standards - 2004

LA City 2004 "At Large Times"

“At Large” and “Extra Entries”
“ At Large” entries are contestants who met or bettered the qualifying mark in the League Final Meet. Fully automatic times or hand times that are recorded on a minimum of two official timers at the finish line will be accepted on the proper entry form. All “At Large” entries will be entered and seeded into the Semi Final Meet. Extra heats will be added if enough “At Large” entries qualify.

“ Extra Entries” are contestants who met or bettered the qualifying mark at any sanctioned meet during the season. Schools will be allowed to enter one running and one field event athlete per division who have met the standard. “Extra Entry” athletes will be entered into the Semi Final Meet if there are scratches making lanes/space available or if an extra heat is added to accommodate “At Large” entries. All entries must be submitted on the proper form and contain meet and mark
