Julian and Mountain Empire Split League Titles


* Paula Schanes probably the best runner in division IV cruised to a one minute ten second (1:10) victory. But, it wasn't enough as the state ranked Julian girls (2-4-7-9-12) narrowly defeat Mountain Empire 34-36 (1-3-6-10-16) with their fifth runner making the difference. Guajome Park Academy finished third with a much improved program this year.
* Mountain Empire boy's go 1-3-4-8-15 for league honors.
