Prelim Results - 5/24 - Poway HS - Div I & II

Jolanda Diego (El Camino, Oceanside) goes 11.94 into a wind and 24.00 (nwi) and teammate Jessica Ecclestron goes 14.57 and 44.30 for the hurdle wins along with 48.14 short relay! Shakara Lott (University City) posts 25.10 (nwi) and 55.76 sprint double!

Kelly McCann (La Costa Canyon) leads 800m qualifying in 2:13.94 and helps on 3:57.82 long relay, with Claire Rethmeier (San PAsqual, Escondido) set for postseason in 10:36.51 tune-up! Whitney DeWeese has big day in the throws with heaves of 41-0 and 144-5!

Helix goes crazy on the boys side, with Deun White (21.39-nwi), Derrell Hutsona (10.76 legal) leading into sensational seasonal-best 41.00 and 3:19.61 relay efforts! Bryon barmer adds 14/40 and 38.80 hurdle efforts! Rancho Bernardo's Billy Mathies soars 16-1 to seize the state lead!
