Merrill West (Tracy) ladies are ready to roll, with a 47.50 short relay effort, 3:58.12 long-relay timing, Jennifer Nash winning the 100 (11.84 with wind at 0.0) and Shevell Quinley taking the hurdles in 44.88! Faun Davis (Natomas) goes 14.78 (+1.1) in the high hurdles, Ingrid Kantola (St. Francis, Sacramento) clocks 2:17.49 for the 800, Kristina Price (Atwater) lets loose for 143-6 in the discus! FINALS - Kisha Fontenot (Woodland) 5-6 HJ

BOYS: Chris Henry (Edison, Stockton) posts a mega-hot 10.56 (+0.5 wind) & 21.72 (+0.0) sprint double, plus does duty on team's 41.96 relay! Cedric Ellis (Cordova) 48.69 for 400m. Andrew Dawson (Vellejo) hits 1:55.76 for the 800. Fairfield is another emerging relay power with a fine 3:20.48 effort! Shane Mervau (Sheldon) at 55-3.25 in the shot put and Joe Perkins (Vacaville) at 161-9 in the discus leads the male weight performers!
