MEGA-HIGHLIGHTS! - Foothill's DJ Smith takes the inside track to the state 100m title with a wind-legal 10.49, the fastest qualifier to Cerritos thus far! Smith also wins the deuce with a 21.26 (#2 time in the state) into the wind! Arroyo's Yong-Sung Leal wrestles back the lead from Logan sophomore Yosef Ghebray to win in a lifetime-best 8:59.70! Ghebray's time of 9:01.04 is the fastest in America for a sophomore this spring! College Park's Lindsay Allen headlines a great day of female distance running with a stunning 4:50.49 and 10:41.86 winning double. She might be the four-lap favorite heading into Cerritos! Stephan Brooks (Berkeley) steals the spotlight in the 300-meter intermeduate hurdles, continuing his rapid rate of improvement in recent weeks with a state-leading 37.42! Logan's Kevin Craddock is not far behind in a lifetime-best 37.71! Ashlee Lodree (El Cerrito) sends a message to the Southern Section hurdlers with a superb 13.79 wind-legal victory!
