  • WINNERS' QUOTES - MORE WITHIN EACH RESULT SECTION ABOVE - PHOTOS EACH RACE!!
  • Boys Div I - Mike Poe (Etiwanda) - "My start was not bad today, and I felt good in the back hills area, so I moved there."
  • Boys Div II - Phillip Reid (Rio Mesa) - " I felt strong with a 1320 to go, and that was the spot where I had planned a move, so I went for it there."
  • Boys Div III - Alex Dunn (San Lorenzo Valley) - "I wanted to go out at a very fast pace, pace the middle mile, then during the last mile take charge. I was a bit concerned with as much company as I had along at the two mile mark."
  • Boys Div IV - Mohamed Trafeh (Duarte) - "I felt okay today. After the mile I broke away, but was hurting a bit the third mile and just worked on maintaining the same pace."
  • Boys Div V - Tim Nelson (Liberty Christian) - "My goal here was to win, and I felt okay during the race. I kind of worked through this in preparation for next week's Foot Locker Regional competition."
  • Girls Div I - Rachel Bryan (Laguna Creek) - "I had an asthma attack, with the extra hot or extra cold weather appearing to have it act up more. I have had some problems in the last week. I thank God the race here is over, as I was extra nervous beforehand this week."
  • Girls Div II - Caitlin Chock (Granite Bay) - "I went out a bit faster than I wished to, but came through two miles right at about the time that I wanted. I wanted to push myself to the fastest of the day, which I think I did for the races so far."
  • Girls Div III - Melissa Grelli (Presentation) - " My plan was to surge after the mile if I felt good, or on the hill area of the course, and I did the surge just before the mile mark. We have practiced surging in workouts during the year, so I knew what to do."
  • Girls Div IV - Laura Meyers (Maranatha) - "I concentrated this week on running my best race and not focusing so much on everybody else. That is what I thought about the last mile. I asked the Lord to give me strength in a short prayer, and I felt great, so I went for it."
