Boston, Massachusetts New England ChampionshipsThe Best of New England's 6 statesby Donna Dye The Scene The New England Championship brings together the best athletes from six states in the northeast: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center. This is a well managed meet that moves along efficiently. The Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center is located at Roxbury Community College in the heart of Boston in a neighborhood called Roxbury. The Center is named after Reggie Lewis a basketball player who played for Northeastern University in college and the Boston Celtics, professionally. Reggie was known for his dedication and advocacy for the youth within the Boston community. Tragically, he died young but his legacy lives on through the Center.
