NSI Map
& Directions

the NY Armory

New York Armory is at 168th and Fort Washington Ave.

How to get there
(courtesy of the NY Armory web site, www.armorytrack.com )

By Subway:  A, #1, or #9 trains to 168th Street, then walk one block west to Fort Washington Ave

By Car:
From New England:  I-95 south.  As you approach the George Washington Bridge, get to the right as the highway splits.  Take the LAST exit before the bridge called 181st street.  Exit onto 181st street and take a right at the light.  Go up hill 3 blocks and take right onto Fort Washington Ave.  Go 12 blocks south on Fort Washington and the Armory will be on your left at 168th st.

From New Jersey and Points South:
From New Jersey and Points South: Take the New Jersey Turnpike North, following signs to the George Washington Bridge.  As you near the bridge (you should have already passed the Meadowlands, for example), follow yellow signs that say "express" to Bridge.  You want to take the upper level of the Bridge.   Once at the bridge and past the
$4.00 toll, get to the bridge's right lane and exit at 178th street.  Go
through one light and make a right at the next light onto Broadway.  Go 10
blocks south and make a right onto 168th street, then go one block to Fort
Washington Ave.  The Armory entrance is there at 168th and Fort Washington.

From Brooklyn Battery Tunnel and West Side Manhattan:

West Side Highway (Henry Hudson Parkway) North.  Take Exit 15 for Riverside Drive. Off the exit, go to the 2nd light on Riverside and take a left onto 165th street.   Go one
block and take a left onto Fort Washington Ave., and go about 200 yards and
the Armory is on the right, on the corner of 168th and Ft. Wash. Ave.

Parking   Parking on the street is tough.  You have to feed the
meter on Mondays through Saturdays 'til 10pm at .25 per half hour.  Most have found Riverside Drive, just south of 165th street, easiest to find meter-free parking.   There is also parking lot on 165th and Fort Washington.
