Girls DMR features traditional distance powers Robinson, Chantilly, West Potomac,Hayfield Lake Braddock Jefferson and Oakton

Girls 4x2 Look for a Maryland flair in this one with Largo, Western, and Eleanor Roosevelt as your fastest entries.

Boys 4x2 Suitland, Hayfield, Brooke Point and Woodbridge make for an exciting fast heat.

Girls 4x8 should feature 4 of the top 6 teams from last years state outdoor championships Oakton, Jefferson, Langley, Lake Braddock with the additions of Robinson and Eleanor Roosevelt should make for fast early season times.

Boys 4x8 Oakton, Lake Braddock and Brooke Point and Woodlawn lead the seeds.

Girls 4x4 Always fast Eleanor Roosevelt takes on all comers in Largo, Lake Braddock, Western and Laurel

Boys 4x4 Look for Woodlawn and Northwestern to lead this group with Suitland, Brooke Point and Woodbridge in hot pursuit

Girls LJ Keosha Sanders( Brooke Point) and Lakeasha Dudley (Bayside) lead the field with entries of 18'7

Boys LJ Woodlawns Mark McKenzie with a 23' entry leads the field Ivan Anderson of Woodrow Wilson and CHarles Cooper of Suitland are also in the mid 22' to 23' range

Girls TJ Kim Chase of Glasgow, Del has the leading mark at 37'11. Shawnette Adams of Lake Braddock should also contend.

Boys TJ Charlton McDougal appears to be the class of the field with a 47' entry.

Girls Shot- 7 throwers in the 35' range should make this event a tight battle.� Kelly Jackson of Mergenthaler Vocational is the class of the field with a 49'8" entry.

Girls HJ Krystle Moss (TJ), Bonnie Meekins(Oak) and Rachel Dailey (Ffx) will renew their rivalry. All have jumped over 5'6

Boys HJ Greg McCormick (Middletown) leads a good field, followed by Teddy Presley (oak) and Garrett Brickner (Lake Braddock)

Girls PV Alicia LaRoche (Cent) leads a good field that include 6 returning Va.state finalists

Boys PV Maybe the best event of the boys meet. Greg McCormick at 15' takes on Val Osipenko(atlee) and David Sullivan (Cent, last years Va State Champ)
