Cross Country State Championship 

2A Boys - 2A Girls - 3A Boys - 3A Girls - 4A Girls - 4A Boys

Northern Nevada takes home five out of six individual state championship titles. But in the team competition, the north and the south each won three championships. In the 3A competition Lowry freshman Kelsey Engstrom upset two-time state champion Heather Sandeman from North Tahoe. Lowry's 3A girls team and Reno's 4A boys team were the fastest teams of the day. Lowry's Bret Ferrier, 3A state champion ran the fastest time of the day for the boys, and Carson's Shanna Sparks, 4A state champion ran the fastest time of the day for the girls.
