Rockford girls deliver 
1-2-3 knockout punch

PORTAGE MI 10/7/00 -- The Rockford MI girls flexed their muscles and delivered a powerful 1-2-3 knockout punch for a 26-83 victory, with all others in triple digits.   

Freshman Nicki Bohnsack has joined seniors Linsey Blaisdell and Kalen Toedebusch to form this lethal combination.  Today, they shook off Loy Norrix freshman Elisa Zemlick and a strong group of Canadian runners to sweep the first three places. Blaisdell 17:46, Toedebusch 17:53, and Bohnsack 17:54.  If there is a vulnerability in this team it is the gap after No. 3.  Rounding out the Rockford scorers were soph Kelsey Toedebusch 18:45 at 9th and sr Aimee Keenan 19:26 at 19th. 

Sarnia, Ontario placed five runners in the top 16 but they were not scored as a team because they represented different clubs.
