US#5 Flathead MT boys beat US#9 Mt. Spokane WA, 14-24, in unusual meet format. There are seven races, one for each position on the team. In other words, the Number 1 runners race each other, the Number 2 runners race each other, and so on through the Number 7 runners.
Flathead won races 2 through 6.
Michael Kiter, Shadle Park WA, had the boys top time of 15:18. Jodee-Adams Moore (Newport) won in 17:58 for the 8th fastest time in meet history.
