Bobby Lockhart gets meet records in both 1600 and 3200
Lockhart leads Bryce Ruiz in 3200
Bobby Lockhart of Handley Winchester set records in the 1600 at 4:12.76 and the 3200 at 9:18.67 in the Virginia State AA meet 6/3.. Bobby was unchallenged in the 1600, leading from start to finish,. In the 3200, another talented soph. Bryce Ruiz of Jamestown ran stride for stride with Lockhart until 600 yards to go. Then Lockhart threw in a 63 second 400 to shake Ruiz for good and win by 10 seconds.
