GOLDEN WEST ANNOUNCES SAN FRANCISCO TRIP
3/1/00 -- Tom Lingel, Vice President and Selection Chairman, announced today that athletes invited to the 41st Annual Golden West Invitational will have the opportunity to take a bus tour of San Francisco as part of the Golden West Experience. Lingel said that the first 90 athletes to sign up would be eligible for the bus trip.
The bus trip (with two buses) will be an all day affair on Friday, June 9th-the day prior to the 41st Annual Golden West Invitational.� Golden West officials said that this was just another enhancement to the only "Olympic Village" style experience in High School Track and Field.
