Cory Primm, who as a junior at Westlake HS won the state 800m
title, has been working on his speed this summer, with a few fine
"49-point" clocking in the 400 meters and a few "mid-23" times
for the 200m. Corey broke new ground on Wednesday while
using starting blocks for the first time, racing to a lifetime-best
of 48.52 seconds at the LAUSD All-Comers at Birmingham High.
Primm will race in the series finale at Birmigham next Wednesday.
