Notes: Jim Sorensen blew up the old record of 11:18. This guy was running fast, and why not. Jim was a top 3 finisher in the 1996 Olymic Trials in the 1500 and has a best time of 3:38 and some change. Thomas Dileo ran a game race, breaking the old HS mark by some 17 seconds. Thomas enters his junior year at Oakland High School.
Neil Rodriquez (St. Joe’s) may had be slowed by conflicted course markings. Read below. Dennis Tracy, Coach at Clayton Valley HS ran a 14:05.4 2 mile to break his old record for 58 year olds! There was some solid running up at Joaquin Miller.
Don’t miss it next year.

Get this: Somebody, right before the race tried to mess the meet up by putting down some pink chalk arrows going in other places. We have some information about these individuals and some bike riders gave me some more info. An open letter to those two people who messed around with the chalk arrows and course markings, don’t come back next year. you are not invited!
