Attached are the results of the Super Septo held at Spring Lake, the championship course for the North Bay League and Sonoma County League. It is a 3 mile course with hills and a variety of running surfaces, dirt, rocky dirt, grass, pavement and gravel. The course starts off up hill for the first quarter mile and then levels out somewhat for another quarter mile then continues to undulate with some fairly challenging hills. It has a lot of surpentine moves making it a very athletic course. It is fairly shaded with oaks, douglas firs, and redwoods. It runs along Spring Lake for a good portion of the course and the lake is rarely out of view. The finish is the reverse of the start so ends in a quarter mile downhill making for some very exciting fast finishes.

Today was about 88 degrees for the first race and it cooled to about 84 for the varsity boys race, the last race.

Maria Carrillo was dominant in all divisions. It looks like the North Bay League will be a battle for second place again this year. Ursuline, Santa Rosa, Rancho Cotate, Ukiah , and Montgomery will all be looking for the second spot in the girls race while, Cardinal Newman, Santa Rosa, and Montgomery will be pursuing the runner up slot in the boys race.
