Cherise McNair and Jimmy Elam (Sierra, Manteca) double 2004 winners!

Perfect weather, 91 deg, slight breeze, very shady lake side course. 23 Teams, 825 runners competing on the day. Both Individual VB and VG overall winners from Sierra HS (Manteca), Jimmy Elam (16:57), Cherise McNair (20:26) on a 3.2 mi course (1.8 mi F/S course). Sheldon Boys (21 teams, 195 runners), Turlock Girls (15 teams, 165 runners) Varsity team winners (host Lodi 3rd and 2nd respectively) -- Jeff Tillett, Lodi HS

 
If everyone shows up from last year should be a good race up front. Amanda Moreno
(Escalon) super 10:43.8 3200 in Track season. Maggie Toole and Megan Alexander
(St. Francis) were 4-2 individually last Fall in this meet!(Joe Hartman photos)

2003 Coverage - BOYS: Jeff Lease (Lincoln, Stockton) individual Boys winner 16:48 by over minute. Lincoln was a 62-69 winner over Lodi. GIRLS: Karyn Nieland (Lodi) Girls winner 20:24. Megan Alexander (2nd) led St. Francis to 27-point total to win easily.
