Horizon’s Jordan Yerkes wins again while LJCD again dominates the team competition. Yerkes will be the favorite and LJCD holds a commanding lead going into the League Championships.

A fall in the first 50m led to the withdrawal of an LJCD runner and a restart. LJCD’s Lauren Pischel caught Bishop’s Robin Kuntz with less than ¾ mile to go and the two dueled it out before Lauren pulled away in a great race. Bishop’s, with a strong pack through much of the race, edged LJCD by a point in the team competition, avenging a one-point loss in the 1st cluster meet. Both teams will enter the League Championships tied for 1st.
