Super Pre-Season Results for Unattached Preps in Fresno State Run!! Young Area runners look sharp for fall season!!

Central Section area preps came out charging after what was obviously a good summer of training, with soph Taylor Farnsworth (Unat/Buchanan, Clovis), a 9:46 frosh last spring for 3200m, racing 9:38 for second in the two mile event, with some other good area results, including a sub 10:00 efforet by Eric Battles, a race winner in the Cross Country Western Regional last December and a 4:16 1500 runner in track during the summer, who should show up at the 9th grade level this Fall somewhere at an area school. Lauren Saylor, 7th in the State 3200 in Track (competing unattached here for Buchanan), raced 10:44 to lead the female portion of the event. In the 4-mile run Clovis (unat) sophs Mikel Thomas and Jonathan Peterson were 11th and 12th at 20:54, super running at this time of year.
