Members of Edison High's boys cross-country team
visit New York's world famous
Financial District after cashing in on an excellent team effort the day
before.
Enduring enduring a hard-luck bear market in recent years (the Chargers
were
the best team not to make the playoffs in 2 of the last 3 years), the
above picture
and Saturday's results are yet possible indications a profitable bull
market is coming!
Edison's girls, who pulled off a rarity in earning
a large schools division at-large berth into the
CIF-SS prelims a year ago, justified that bid with a 10th-place finish
in the Division II Finals.
Most of the girls return from that squad, with the Chargers looking strong
in victory this weekend!
From left to right, Ryan Zamanigan, Ian Cone, co-captain
Robbie Van Dine, Jayson Hayes,
Brandon Udink and co-captain Drew Woods flank Edison coach Jim Roldan
after a fine showing.
At left, a trio of Edison runners employ pack running
in making the Chargers a winning force. At right,
Edison's boys also use the three-pack approach in setting the table for
success, placing second in its race.
