Ed Sias Invitational

Joe Hartman pictures!

South Kitsap girls of Washington made the trip down for the Ed Sias meet!

That's Scot Bauhs of San Ramon Valley (green top) being just a little
too tough for South Kitsap's CJ Godfrey approaching the finish!

North Monterey County's Nathan Huerta had another fine
showing, checking in here to place fifth overall!

Here's Campolindo's Justin Pines in the foreground, looking strong while
the chase pack sizes him up. Pines placed ninth in the race!

Jesuit senior John Wihtol grimaces and begins to bear down, having enough
on this day to hold off San Ramon Valley's Scot Bauhs.

Wihtol, the latest name in a long line of excellent standouts for the famed Marauders,
cools off and removes his race bib after another solid effort had him placing second here!

Bu the 'man of the hour" was once again Redwood supertalent
Jake Schmitt, who weathered the elements and a tough field
to post top time honors for the day, winning in 10:23!
