1st annual Yolo Co. Championships - Sat 10/4/03

co-hosted Woodland HS with Davis Senior High on Saturday, Oct. 4th. The course is over a rolling hill terrain with a one major "poop out" challange over the 5K course. The property is at a remote/rural location "Muller Ranch" which is a wine
producing vineyard. Indeed these are the very trails which Laura Muller '02 (now at UCLA) trained before winning 2001 Stanford D1 race and qualifying for 3 CC STATE MEETS. We have firm committments from 22 fairly local programs and local perrinial State Meet visitors in Jesuit, Woodcreek and Oakmont. Coach Bill Gregg (Davis) and I hope to host a quality meet that offers a great "soft" course with ideal viewing of race in progress
