Contest details:

1) Pick both regional team champions (example: South Boys and Midwest Girls)       
2) Pick the fastest boy and girl finisher in each region (must submit 8 names total).     
3) Predict the COMBINED winning margin of the boys/girls national champions.      
In other words, if you think 8-second win for boys and 5 for girls, put "13 seconds'".


Scoring:
1) One (1) point for identifying each correct team champion.  (Two points maximum possible). 
2) One point for identifying fastest boy/girls runners in each region. (8 points max. possible)     
3) Tiebreaker is predicting the combined margin of victory. (Closest to actual wins tiebreaker) 

 

Rules:
1) Only one entry per email address. Multiple entries must be from different email addresses.           
2)
Deadline to enter is 8 a.m. EST on Saturday (December 13, 2003). No late entries accepted.     
3) Entry must include your name and city of residence. Entries without names will nt be considered. 
4) DyeStatCal is not responsible for lost, delayed or misdirected emails, or website server problems.

 

Notification:
1) Winner's name will be posted atop the DyeStatCal mainpage on 5 p.m. PST Sunday.                           
2) Winner will also be notified by email at that time. Winner responsible for checking email.                       
3) Winner must claim prize by responding within 96 hours (5 p.m. Thursday), or prize is forfeited.             
4) In the case that the prize is forfeited, second-place winner will be eligible for prize consideration, etc.     
5) Highest scorer gets first choice of prize. Next best score gets next priority, and so on. Good luck to all!

South Top Boys/Girls Placers: Steve Magness/Frankie Floss
Northeast Top Boys/Girls Placers: Andy Downin/Molly Huddle

Tiebreaker (combined margins of victory): 19 seconds.
