Granite Bay to Tahoe to run the Squaw Valley Mountain Run. We had over thirty kids (including a few recent alums) make it up the 3.5 mile 2000 foot climb - entire group (we're inside the lodge because of the downpour that drenched the slower competitors)
Chris Doerhoff (2001 grad now running for Santa Clara) who finished 2nd overall; he was the fastest low-lander as the winner was from Reno.
