Girls Results (2.6 Miles)
In their dual meet Point Loma won 28-29, and in another close race.today
Point Loma defeated league rival Patrick Henry again this time by 2 points
37-39. The top finishers represented both schools, remarkably the pointers
placied all seven runners in the top seventeen ! Quite an acomplishment
for the division three school going against three division one, and two
division two schools.. Even more impressive their top five runners will
all be returning next year. Coach Barrett said he felt vindicated after
last years controversial league meet where Henry came out on top,

Boys Results (3.0 Miles)
Attention all state ranked D-I & D-II schools ! San Diego(D-I) ,
and Patrick Henry (D-II) will be making some noise in Fresno this year
! Both Schools ran unbelievable. placing their 5 scorers in the top 12.
San Diego's Oswaldo Alvarez busted out a 30 second PR (15:15) in leading
the Cavers to the league title in a closely contested race that was settled
by the 6th man tie breaker rule.
Patrick Henry Coach Thom Hunt might be the first great athlete to become
an even a greater coach. With three runners sub 15:50, and three more
in the 16's, not to mention a pair of sophmores, and a freshman. Also
in the JV race Hunt team went 1-2 both freshman.
San Diego Coach Edward Ramos always has a good team, but this years team
might be great. Coach Hunt praised Ramos saying that with the overall
depth in San Diego Section this year in division one, nobody is giving
San Diego quite the respect they deserve. " Heck they're at least
30 seconds faster than last year" said Hunt who expects them to shake
thigs up at our Section CIF a week from Saturday.
I would also like to make a note of the great Job Coach Gary McDonald
has done building a cross country team over the last couple of years.
Morse known for sprinters, placed fourth, the highest ever for a tiger
team in cross country !
