EAL meet between Enterprise and Chico high schools at Enterprise Community Park in Redding. The course is a 5,000 meter lay out over dirt trails, some pavement and very dusty on this day. It was about 80 degrees with a slight breeze. The course has a challenging hill at the 11/4 mile mark, and another good hill at the 2 1/2 mile mark. This course really kicks your tail. It is alot tougher than we expected when we first developed the course.

Enterprise ran without their #3 and #4 runners. Hodges and Vranna made up alot of ground over the last mile to help pull out the victory. It was a very good race on both teams parts. Again, the course was very, very challenging....

Another great performance by both teams. All the girls ran very tough over this challenging course. It will be interesting to see the EAL finals later this year as as much as 3 or 4 teams can win it all.....Stay tuned.
