BOYS VARSITY:

Turlock (7-1), second only to the Uribe Twins-led Grace Davis in the 10 team
CCC, won easily, defeating Atwater 17-40 and Golden Valley 17-46. Atwater
(2-4) defeated Golden Valley 21-37. Turlock's Andy Nelson turned in the
fastest time this year on the course, clocking 15:50 for an unchallenged
victory.

GIRLS VARSITY:

Turlock (8-0), ranked fifth in the most recent section tally, continued its
dominance of the conference, handling Atwater 23-38 and Golden Valley 15-49.
Atwater, 2-16 in conference in 2001, moved to 3-3 for this year by the
narrowest of margins, 27-28 over Golden Valley. Dallon Williams shattered
the course record by over 20 seconds, clocking 17:27. This was Williams
second course record since her top 15 performance (after holding an early
lead) at the Stanford Invitational.
