Run for the Dream Indoor Track & Field Meet
Monday, January 21st, 2008 @ Fresno's Save-Mart Center

       A 160 yard all-weather facility will be unveiled Monday January 21st (Martin Luther King day) in a competition at Fresno's Save-Mart Center fittingly called the "Run for the Dream" Indoor Meet.  The facility was made possible due to a generous donation by longtime pole vault official Fred Arnold in the memory of his wife, Madeleine. 

• Morning competiton - Women's indoor meet featuring Fresno State, Hawaii, Cal Poly, and Cal-State Stanislaus.
  
  Leading college highlight has Rosario Sanchez of host Fresno State (ex-Selma HS) gonig 48-04.50 in women's shot!
  
  
• Afternoon competition - Regional high school all-stars from California compete in scored "Dream Team Championships.”
  Video uploads started Monday - G55mHH - B55mHH - G55m - B55m   
  Vashti Thomas - 7.87/55mH is #2 in the nation this season
  and her 19-00.00 in GLJ is #3 in the nation this season.
  Julian Purvis - 7.91/55mH is #3 in the nation this season
  Briana Stewart - 39-06.50/GTJ is #2 iun the nation this season
  Melissa Kiltner - 38-1.25/GTJ is #3 in the nation this season
• Evening competition - VISA Championship Series presents the "USA vs. the World" professional meet
