Southern Section

     The 4th Annual California Relays is going to feature some of the Golden State¹s top runners and field events.
Highlighting the Girl¹s 3200 and 1600 is Fountain Valley¹s Lizzy Coe. The Boy¹s 1600 will have Palos Verdes¹s Fawad
Khan. The Boy¹s 800 feature an outstanding field which includes Kyle Burtzlaff of Lakewood, Anthony Milin of
Loyola and Ulises Lorenzo of El Monte.
     The Boy¹s 3200 will be a highly contested event with Chris Pleitez of Lakewood, James Kostelnik of Loyola and Eric Dyson of Fountain Valley. The Girls sprints include Cyntrail Pierce of Dominguez, Anthonae Sparks of Valley View in the 400m. Star Spriter Monoah Wesson of Dominguez highlights the Boys 200 and 400m. Dominguez¹s Shannel Stephens leads the Girls in the 100m.
     Bryan Williams of Valley View and Saseun Charles of Rancho Cucamonga will be battling it out in the Boys 100m.
All around athletes Whitney Liehr of Palos Verdes, Spencer Phillips of Rancho Cucamonga, Jonathon Clark of Loyola, Thomas Byrd of McClymonds and Robbie Paris of Santa Monica round out a very good meet. These athletes
expect to run extremely fast times and achieve far distances on the new Mondo track facilities at Cerritos College in preparation for Arcadia.
     This facility could be the fastest in Southern California.
