Castilleja HS senior Tori Anthony added the state outdoor
record to her previous national indoor record to highlight
the girls' pole vault action. Anthony cleared 13-10 to win. Story.

Defending California state 800m champion Cory Primm (r) was fresh off
his nation-leading 1:49.50 win at Arcadia last weekend, but he was
nabbed right at the finish over 1600m this time out at Carlmont's
Brad Surh won in a big lifetime-best 4:11.84 to highlight the distances.
