Men's Decathlon

        Cuban Yordanis Garcia has kind of rocketed to the head of the Junior class after his 2005 World Youth Championship win, with a 7880 performance with the full international implements. Rusian Arkadiy Vasilyev has totalled 7728 with the senior hurdles and weights, with a fine 8132 with the junior size shot and discus. Oleksiy Kasyanov (Ukraine) was 7599 in the July European Cup behind Vasilyev with the bigger equipment. Germany's Michael Schrader has 7535 with the senior international level equipment, and 7695 with the Junior equipment this year. Jordan Vandermade (New Zealand) has a 7566 total this year with the senior level equipment, with Mattas Prey (Germany), second in last year's World Youth Meet, making fine continued progress to a 7423 total with the stuff used by the big boys, and countryman Jonas Brix 7534 this spring in the ten eventer.
