STARTING TIME: 8:30 A.M. Saturday and Sunday. First call 8:00 a.m. (For Friday events see attached schedule)
SANCTION: USAT&F Rules will apply with special provisions for youth athletics

ENTRY DEADLINE: June 17, 2004 is the last day to have all entries in No Exceptions.
ENTRY FEES: $7.00 per event, $28.00 per relay. Relays count as an event for each team member, PLUS ALTERNATE. Entry fees are to be paid at Association Meet.
TEAM PACKAGE: Team Packets may be picked up at the Host Hotel: Pioneer Inn-16905 Pioneer Blvd -Artesia, CA 90701 (2 miles from Cerritos College). Phone Number 562-402-2202. Stadium is surround by plenty of fast food carry outs/and restaurant in the area.
ELIGIBILITY: All entrants must be currently registered with USAT&F and in the proper age group corresponding with their year of birth.
AGE DIVISIONS: Bantam 1994+
Midgets 1992-1993
Youth 1990-1991
Intermediate 1988-1989
Young Men/Women 1986-1987(18 yr olds born after Aug 1, 1985)

EVENT LIMITS: Bantam and Midgets- 3 events maximum
Youth and above - 4 events maximum
FIRST AIDE: Medical Staff will be available for minor injuries.
SOUVENIRS: Programs and T-shirts will be available (concessions will be available both days)
FACILITIES: The Track is an all weather 9 lane surface including long jump, high jump, and pole vault approaches. Setting for 12,000, wood and medal.
NOTE: The infield area will be off limits to all coaches, parents, and athletes except those competing in an event
EVENT CHECK IN: For running events Report to the clerk of the course when the event is called ready to run approximately 20 minutes prior to the start of the event 3 calls will be given for each event. All field event athletes will report directly to the head official of that event. Athletes switching heats or lanes will be disqualified when that event is called or contested.
EVENTS: All championship events will be contested. Three preliminary attempts will be allowed in the field events nine athletes will advance to the finals for three additional attempts

ADVANCING/PROCESSING
The top 3 finishers will advance to the J.O. Nationals to be held July 27th through August 1st in Eugene Oregon. Every athlete who qualifies must submit entry fees and entry forms by the end of the Regional Championships meet with the EXACT MONEY STAPLED TO THEIR INDIVIDUAL AND RELAY FORMS. CASH ONLY-NO CHECKS.
The J.O fees are $8.00 per event and $32.00 per relay.
AWARDS: Junior Olympic medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons for 4th through 8th place. Coaches designate one coach or person to pick up awards for each team; no awards will be distributed to any athlete. With exception of unattached.
MEET RESULTS: Results will be posted in binders for every one to see and will also be available on the web site at www.ezteamz.com/alexanderexpress
PROTEST: Protests must be made in writing and accompanied by $25.00 deposit meet director. The protest must be filed within 30 minutes after the results have been announced or posted. If the protest is upheld, the deposit will be refunded. You must cite the rule that is the basis of your protest.

ALL SIBLINGS AND RELATIVES ALL SIBLINGS AND RELATIVES WILL BE HELD TO THE SAME BEHAVIOR RULES AS THE CLUBS. CLUBS, PLEASE INFORM YOUR VISITORS ABOUT THE NEED TO REFRAME FROM DRINKING ALCOHOL, SMOKING, VANDALISM AND GOING INTO OUT-OF-BOUND AREAS. IT KEEPS ANY CLUB OR ATHLETE OR PERSONS FROM BEING DISQUALIFIED OR REMOVED FROM THE GROUNDS OR BEING ESCORTED OFF BY THE LAW AND IT SAVES EMARASSMENT TO EVERY ONE, IF A PROBLEM ARISES WE WILL TO THE BEST OF OUR KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY FIX IT. ALL OF OUR COOPERATION IS MANDATORY.
ENTRY FORMS The birth date submitted must be verified and stamped as such by your Association Chair or, an acceptable form of proof of age must be attached to the submitted form.
PARKING Plenty of FREE PARKING.
SPIKE LENGTH The spike length allowed for the meet are 3/16, they will be checked.
