MAC HS Classic, NY Armory - Maryland star Devon Williams (frosh who ran 2:09.72 800 last year in 8th grade!) became the third fastest US high school girl ever at 600 meters by winning in 1:30.22 (Stacey Ann Livingston 1:29.69 and Robin Campbell 1:30.1). Williams is a freshman at Towson MD Catholic high school.

CO USATF All Comers, Golden CO - Tony Wells' Colorado Flyers girls posted two US#1 marks. Great Southwest Classic 100m champion Ashley Owens, a senior at Liberty Colorado Springs, won the 60m in 7.34, and newcomer Sarah Griffin Matthews, a sophomore at Niwot CO, won the long jump at 19-4.25.
