Triple jumper Brittany Daniels'
recap from coach John Harvey: "Brittany's
day went just the way we planned. Our goal was to put the first jump out
there and put the pressure on everyone to chase her down, she did just
that with her mark of 42-8 1/4. During her warmup she was running into
a headwind and then the wind changed directions and we had a tailwind,
I think that hurt her a little because her first jump she was behind the
board. The winds got up to +7.0 for some of the jumpers. Brittany is growing
up fast this summer and we look forward to her bring home a medal from
the World Youth Championships."
