"Babs" does it again! Dana Hills' Brandon Babiracki ripped a 39.8-second last 300 (yes, that's what we had him at!) to catapult past the field in winning the 1600 in 4:12.05. "That felt easier than (the 4:11.67) at Arcadia," said Babs, whose thrilling speed makes him a lethal state-meet title threat! Also 9:18.47 for 3200 in huge PR there... with a great kick to haul in Estancia's Humberto Rojas!
Solid throwers! Kate Hunchinson (San Clemente) hurdle the disc 158'2" to hold off a nice effort from Mission Viejo's Priscilla Gardner (153'0") and Katelyn Ciarelli (141'4"), with Orange Lutheran's Melissa Younghans (43'7.5") topping Garnder (43'1") and Hutchinson (40'8.5") in the shot!
