Highlights ….. Duane Solomon of Cabrillo H.S. (Lompoc) ran the 800 leg in the DM. After coming by the 400 in 51, he ended up with a 1:51.44……. Matt Kern (La Sierra, Riverside) had a 1:58.2 split in anchoring his team to a 8:17.99 in the 4x 800, and later anchored again with a 4:26 split in the 4 x 1600…..Katie Gose anchored La Reina to a win the Distance Medley with a 5:12. It was a personal best for her….Junior Lesa Novik, Agoura, ran well in the 5000 with a 19:09.91

Temperature for meet 57.4oF at start of meet, with no wind.
1 Eric is the only Camarillo High School runner to go under 8:45 for 2 miles. Run in 1983, he still ranks # 3 on the national list behind Jeff Nelson (Burbank), & Steve Prefontaine.. Eric ran 8:44.0. How did he do it, you ask? His first mile was 4:21.8, followed by a 4:22.2. The converted time to the 3200 m. is 8:41.0. .. His best at Mt. Sac (ed: old course) was 14:39.
