Wow!! San Joaquin Section star Jessica Pressley (Laguna Creek, Elk Grove) moved to the #10 All-time California spot in the Girls Shot Put and just outside the top thirty all-time for preps from the entire U.S. with her 49-08.5 effort in the 3/19 dual meet vs. St. Francis of Sacramento! With the bulk of her senior season ahead of her the Laguna Creek star had a two foot personal best with the titanic effort. Below is the State All-Time list in the event, with interestingly, the school record of 50-00.75 by Chaniqua Ross probably next on the personal goal list, a mark that would put her among the top thirty US Prep's all-time and #2 on the Sac Joaquin List, with Jill Camarena's 50-11.25 the area best in the event!
