San Benito/Hollister Coed Relays report - Coach Randy Logue

The varsity team scores were as follows. 1st place Hollister 121, 2nd North Monterey County 82, Branham 44, Leland 37, Alvarez 30, Gilroy 29, King City 25, Greenfield 6, Peidmont Hills 6, and Live Oak(Morgan Hill) 5 (10 teams - largest ever field).

Everything was a relays format, with all teams consisting of 2 boys and 2girls. Top performers included Joel Tosto of Greenfield in the TJ who is a returning state placer with a good early season jump of 44 feet. For Hollister Jonathan Rivera ran an anchor leg of 2:01 for an 880 on dirt, and Jamie O'brian for Hollister showed good versatility running the 4x220, 4x440, and 4x880 all of which took first place.

Senior Kristina Price (Merced) had a fine weight double of 38-09.5 SP and 136-07 DT, both Meet Records. Justin Williams (Los Banos) 11.28 100m win, with Maurice Dotson (Atwater) 16.60 110mHH victory.
