Last seen racing at the Foot Locker Cross-Country Nationals in San Diego, Northport HS soph Kevin Tschirhart in his first race of the new season anchored 4:23.7 in finishing up a winning distance medley relay effort in the Armory Holiday Classic (John Dye photo).

Brown Invitational (12/28/02) - Saratoga, NY frosh Nicole Blood (another Foot Locker finalist!) just nips Holy Names, NY senior Liz Maloy, 4:57.40 to 4:57.49. Saratoga, NY girls roll to 12:32.60 distance medley relay and 9:41.46 in 3200m relay wins! Saidu Ezihe clocks 7.55 for the 55m hurdles. Kenneth Walker (Bloomfield HS) 6.44 in 55m dash. David Murphy (Bishop Hendricken HS) claims 4:19.96 mile win. Jose Fernandez (Fordham Prep HS) nails a 1:57.69 triumph for 00m. Fordham Prep senior Conrad Dalton takes 500m dash in 1:05.42.
