Mark beat O of Oregon frosh phenom Galen Rupp (!!) to win it! Mark's 1500m time is #4 in state history! On Friday night, Big Bear HS alum Ryan Hall made his pro debut with Asics and qualified for the World Championships in the 5k!

Matusak takes Rupp in 1500!! Marion Jones bails at starting line claiming slight injury in Carson - --Day 2 Recap-- Shevell Quinley had an eventful day in the heptathlon, moving from second after day 1 to the USA junior championship. Quinley had a phenomenal effort in the long jump, her mark of 6.18m/20-3.5 giving her 905 points. After a javelin toss of 28.08m/92-1 yielded just 440 points, she finished with an 800m time of 2:27.83 (727) to finish the day with 5,142 points and the win.
