David Klech (California HS, San Ramon) blazed to the 2005
World Youth leader (50.96) to win his 400mLH semis heat.  They run
33-inch hurdles at the World Youth Level. For comparison, the state
400m IH record at the 36" hurdles is 51.33 by Felix Sanchez
(University City, SD) from 1995, the eventual Olympic Games champ!
The 300mIH hurdles run during HS season are also at 36-inch height.
