2005 Arcadia Invitational |

2005 Arcadia Invitational John Dye of DyeStat.com has a series of marks in most of the different Track & Field events that he attempts to keep a tally of to measure the top 50 to 100 athletes at the end of each season. It obviously is a standard of high quality, with it always interesting to see how many athletes in different meets achieve those standards. Last year (2004) the Arcadia Invitational led all regular season meets with 256 such marks, with the Penn Relays next at 200, the Texas Relays at 194, and so on. John tightened down his standards a tad this season, with below the results from the 2005 Arcadia Invitational in the different events with the number of athletes who met those standards. Interesting in the numbers from the different events, with the distances still a stalwart of the competition as far as quality, both in the regular and relay events. It kind of gives you a sense of the State's quality in a year, with some outside of California competitors prominent in most events, but the bulk of those below Golden Staters. 2005 Arcadia Invite – DyeStat Elite Marks
