ANNOUNCE TELECAST AGREEMENT

Three-Year Local Coverage Plan for High School Sports Includes

CIF-SS Championship Events, Girls� Contests and Football

LOS ALAMITOS and LOS ANGELES � The CIF Southern Section (CIF-SS) and FSN PRIME TICKET

have entered into a three-year telecast partnership for local high school sports.� Coverage of regular season

games and playoff events for various section sports, as well as a girls� championship contest, are included

in the agreement.� The announcement was made today by CIF-SS Commissioner of Athletics Dr. Jim

Staunton and FSN PRIME TICKET Vice President and General Manger Steve Simpson.

�The section office is delighted that we now have a local telecast deal in place,� said Staunton.

�This deal allows our member schools to receive exposure for their programs and compensation

for their schools at the same time. It also provides for a girls contest as well and that is a very

important piece of the agreement. We feel it is a win-win for FSN and our organization.����

�FSN PRIME TICKET�s commitment to coverage of local high school sports has never been stronger.�

Our ten-year relationship with the Southern Section has allowed us to provide a great service to local

communities, schools and sports fans,� said Simpson.

FSN PRIME TICKET is now the exclusive telecast home of the CIF Southern Section � Toyota Division

I Football Championship game.� In the weeks leading up to the championship, FSN PRIME TICKET airs

the CIF-SS football game of the week, providing a minimum of 10 games each season.� The 2006

FSN/CIF-SS football schedule begins on Friday, September 8, with Notre Dame at Canyon (CC) at

7 PM on FSN PRIME TICKET.�

Also under the new agreement, which extends through June 2009, FSN PRIME TICKET telecasts a

girls� CIF-SS championship contest and may also provide coverage of additional CIF-SS events.��

Together, FSN PRIME TICKET and the CIF-SS have been providing telecast coverage of high school
football events for the past 10 years.� The first local �High School Football Game of the Week� aired on
the regional sports network in 1996.� In September of 2005, FSN PRIME TICKET presented its 100^th
high school football telecast.�

FSN PRIME TICKET, along with FSN WEST and FSN BAY AREA, is the telecast home of the CIF
State Championships.� To date, FSN PRIME TICKET has aired the Boys Division I and II and Girls
Division I 2006 CIF State Basketball events as well as the 2006 CIF State Track and Field
Championships.� The three-year deal, announced on March 6, 2006, provides FSN with the
exclusive rights to provide telecast coverage of basketball, track and field, football, volleyball
and wrestling regional and state championship events.

In addition, two original programs devoted to the coverage of high school sports air weekly on
FSN PRIME TICKET. �High School Spotlight� and �High School Spotlight Scoreboard� premiere on
Thursday and Friday nights, respectively, throughout the academic year.
