Chico State 4th Men - 6th Women

Guys,  I wanted to drop a few photos to you real quick from our recent NCAA trip in Evansville, Ind.  Things went pretty well for us.  Men ran pretty solid in taking 4th overall  behind 3 VERY good teams in Western, Adams, and Abilene Christian.  Patrick Boivin (Jr. from Rocklin HS) led the way w/ his 9th place finish.  Pat is now a 3 time AA performer and has placed 20th, 15th, and 9th at NCAA's.  Frosh Scott Bauhs (2nd at State in 3200m last Spring while at San Ramon Valley) finished a solid frosh season w/ his 24th place finish.  Scott would have finished even higher if he'd been a bit less agressive in the opening miles (was running in the top 5 @ the mile).  Joel Martinez a Jr from Paso Robles HS brought home his second straight AA honors while placing 27th overall.  For the women Jennifer James earned our school's third All American honors for women's XC... Ironically the other two are also from Redding, CA (Jen hails from Enterprise HS and ran over 20 min at state in both her JR and SR years)  Anyhow, here are some pic's of the AA's ...
