Update on Eugene Kim - Injured Huntington Beach runner - struck by falling light standard in park during Woodbridge Invitational - Tony DiMarco

Update - Eugene Kim - Huntington Beach HS runner injured by falling light standard at Invitational last weekend

when you are hurting in your race this weekend - think of Eugene and take a few steps for him - not everyone has the privilege of being out on the course each weekend---

Report from Tony DiMarco (Huntington Beach Coach)

"Guys,
Thanks again for the support for Eugene. He was moved out of the ICU yesterday and into a private room where he was able to stand up and today take some steps around the hospital. He still needs to use a braise and a walker and is in a great deal of pain, but we believe he is making positive steps forward.

It's not easy for him to not be out there running as he is very sad that he will not be able to help his teammates. We have dedicated this season to him and I am also dedicating the HB Invite Saturday - the boys hope to win the meet and bring the trophy to him!"
