"Run Through History" in Woodland offers "Unattached" event for teams without a race 9/6 - Sac Joaquin area


Run Through History - Woodland - 9/6/03 -

In conjunction with the Stroll Through History, the Run Through History is a 10K, 5K, and 1 K walk/run event extravaganza. The Event will showcase the Woodland area. The 10 an 5K races both begin at 8 am with the 6th grade and under 1K starting at 9:00 a.m. All proceeds benefit the Woodland H.S., Douglass and Lee Cross Country programs. Elite and Recreational runners and walkers are welcome!


We have a Web link with relevant information. All proceeds from this event fund the 4 cross-country programs in the city of Woodland (Woodland High School, Pioneer High School, Lee and Douglass Jr. High). The entire WHS cross country team will run in the race this week as their workout/race. The run offers both a 5 and 10K course and both races begin at 8:00 am. Held in conjunction with the Stroll Through History, the day promises to offer a unique and beautiful glimpse into the past.
