All-Comers action starts iin greater Los Angeles area 12/13 - Rancho Cienega Park


ABTFC EXPANDS ALL-COMERS SERIES THROUGHOUT SO CAL

The Association of Black Track & Field Coaches(ABTFC) has expanded its All-Comers Track & Field Meets to different venues in the community for the 2003-2004 season.The new venues that will now hold ABTFC meets are Lynwood High in Lynwood and Centennial High in Compton.These additions will bring the series to four track & field meets.Starting on December 13th at Rancho Cienega Park inside Jackie Robinson Stadium in Los Angeles,January 10th at Lynwood High,January 24th returning to Jackie Robinson Stadium;and finishing at Centennial High in Compton February 14th 2004."We think it's real good to bring track & field back to these communities that have been the backbone of track & field throughout the years."says Coach Terry Kennedy of perrenial powerhouse girls team Long Beach Wilson High.Coach Ralph Tilley of Dorsey High added" We are proud to be able to host these series of meets at the different venues in the Community;Track & Field has flourished in this region and deserves to be showcased." Each meet is open to age-group,high school,college,open,and professional.Start time is 10am.
